The children of Kahambawa, Marawa, Monaragala were able to start a Little Library on their own with the support of CUP on 07th April 2013.The concept of Little Library is to enhance the ability of reading among children and also to encourage them towards creative writing. The children will get more opportunities to learn leadership skills, teamwork, organizing patterns and sharing with others through the experience gained in this project.Mr. Prasad Galhena, the Chairman – Sri Lanka Gem and Jewellary Authority is the key sponsor of this project.   Mr. Chinthaka de Silva and Mr.Ranjith Dissanayake also made donations, in kind to make this Little Library a success.  Mr.Roshan Gunawardena sponsored travel arrangements for CUP officials.

CUP successfully opened their 23rd Little Library with the students of Lak Aruna Foundation at Hingurukaduwa, Monaragala on 06th April 2013.The concept of Little Library is to enhance the ability of reading among children and also to encourage them towards creative writing.The member students of the library organized the opening ceremony and they were able to perform their talents to the gathering.Mr. Dinesh Perera, Mr. Sabeer Iqbal and Mr. Prasad Galhena are the key sponsors of this project.   Mr. Chinthaka de Silva and Mr.Ranjith Dissanayake also made donations, in kind to make this Little Library a success.  Mr.Roshan Gunawardena sponsored travel arrangements for CUP officials.

The CUP 21st  Little Library was established at Sri Sanga Bodhi Sunday School, Singhe Udagama, Polonnaruwa. The aim of this project is to improve the reading habits and the creative writing among children. About 112 children of Sri Sanga Bodhi Sunday School will become the reader members who would immensely benefit from this Little Library.

The concept of "Singithi Pothgula" - Little Library was introduced by CUP, in order to improve the reading habits and the creative writing among children. The 19thLittle Library project embarked upon by CUP was established at Alankulama, Anamaduwa in the district of Puttlam. The children of the area will become the reader members who would immensely benefit from this little library.
