The award ceremony for the computer beginners’ course, group two, at Sri Wijayaramaya Temple, Lelwala, Neluwa, Galle was held on February 11, 2024. The project is sponsored by Bosath Children’s Educational Foundation.

CUP 43 rd Little Library opened at Sri Subadrarama Purana Viharaya on September 17, 2023, and the beneficiaries of the library are the children of the Sunday school of the temple. The project was completed with the help of many donors, including Mr. Sabeer Iqbal, Mr. Muktar Anver, Ms. Malathi Rajapaksha, Mrs. R. Weerasooria, and Mr. Roshan Perera.

On June 10, the Bosath Children's Educational Foundation (BCEF) and the Children's Upliftment Programme (CUP) launched an Information Learning Centre for Children at the Neththagama, Sri Shailathalaramaya temple.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Children’s Upliftment Programme (CUP) was held on 1st December 2022 at Cinnamon Lake Side, Colombo 02. Mr. Prasad Galhena was re-appointed as the President of CUP. The President expressed the gratitude towards the CUP TEAM for the support and trust in his leadership. The focus of the CUP in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be to support and enhance Children’s computer knowledge, to promote nutrition education among children and make aware about child rights. 

CUP organized the “Finger Puppet Competition” for the children in Sri Lanka. The project's key objective was to give children opportunities to enhance their creative thinking and handmade ideas while developing presentation skills during the COVID-19 lock down situation. The theme of the competition was “Trees and me.” The winners were selected in different age groups from 5 to 12 years by the experts in the field, Mr. Athula Ransirilal, the Director, Lanka Television and Radio Academy, and Dr. S. S. Jeyaprakash, Assistant Director, Tower Hall Theatre Foundation.

The project's key objective was to give children opportunities to enhance their creative thinking while developing presentation skills during the pandemic. The theme of the competition was “COVID changed my life.” The winners were selected in different age groups from 5 to 12 years by the experts in the field, Mr. Athula Ransirilal, the Director, Lanka Television and Radio Academy, and Dr. S. S. Jeyaprakash, Assistant Director, Tower Hall Theatre Foundation.

CUP together with Bosath Children’s Education Foundation opened an IT learning center at Sri Wijayaramaya temple at Lelwala, Neluwa, Galle.
The primary objective of the project is to train and develop children for the new normal in order to face challenges in online education programs, knowledge sharing activities and child related entertainment.

CUP involves in the project called Cerebral Visual Impairment Project (CVIP), which supports children who are visually impaired. The Children's Upliftment Programme (CUP), with the help of benevolent donors of our country, has successfully contributed towards set-up a SriLanka Second Visual Rehabilitation Unit at Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Hospital, Ragama, recently. This Special Unit will be treating the Gampaha District's nearby residence with visual impairment syndrome.
