Children’s Upliftment Programme (CUP) opened its 34th Little Library at Ampalavan Pokkanei Tamil Mixed Government School. Almost 300 children will benefit from this reading facility.

This project was sponsored by Kingdom of Raigam. On behalf of Kingdom of Raigam, Mr. Vasantha Weerasekara, Senior Manager Coordination, Mr. Nandana Pushpakumara , Kachchaweli Project site manager and Mr.Sathish Kumar participated in the opening ceremony.

The children who were present witnessed a Tamil Children’s movie which demonstrated value of respecting.

Special thanks goes to Colonel Sanjaya Wanasinghe - Brigade Commander Pudukkuduirippu, Manjula Liyanawaduge, Amandeepa Senevirathne and Roshan Gunawardana for their contribution in many different ways to make this event a success.
