Children’s Upliftment Programme (CUP) opened its 37th Little Library at Sri Kemananada Sunday School, Udaberagama, Ambalanthota benefitting close to 200 students in the Sunday school. In accordance with CUP’s new concept, the theme associated with this library was ‘Value of reading books’ - A timely topic to address the continuous reading dropout rate due to new media.

Venerable Kotapola Vipassi Thero, Sri Vijayaramaya, Lelwala and CUP officials, Harsha Gomes, Nadee Dissanayake, Nishantha Perera and W.P. Kalyani were presented at this event. Special thanks goes to Mr. Yashoda Kasthuri, Mrs. Rani Weerasooria, Mr. Nalaka Perera, Mrs Champika Perera, Mr. Roshan Jayawardena and Mrs. Devini for their contribution in many different ways to make this event a success.
