CUP 43 rd Little Library opened at Sri Subadrarama Purana Viharaya on September 17, 2023, and the beneficiaries of the library are the children of the Sunday school of the temple. The project was completed with the help of many donors, including Mr. Sabeer Iqbal, Mr. Muktar Anver, Ms. Malathi Rajapaksha, Mrs. R. Weerasooria, and Mr. Roshan Perera.

Richard Pvt. Ltd provided a valuable gift pack to children and added colour to the event. The directors of Richard Pvt. Ltd., Mrs. Dilani Wijethunga and Mrs. Angela Richard Jayatissa, participated at the event. Mrs. Jayatissa addressing the gathering, stressed the value of reading books.

In addition, the Secretary of Children’s Upliftment Programme, Dr. Nadee Dissanayake, explained how children can improve their language, cognitive growth, emotional intelligence, social connection, cultural awareness, academic success, and a lifelong passion for learning through reading books. Also, the CUP officials participated in the event.
