The concept of "Singithi Pothgula" - Little Library was introduced by CUP, in order to improve the reading habits among children. This is the 5th Little Library project embarked by CUP.

An introductory programme for the library leaders, members and their parents was held at Methsevana on the 1st of August 2009. CUP Officials Mr. H.Gomes, Mrs.N.T.A.Dissanayake and Ms. P. Gunathilaka were present this event.
