Forty students of Somaweera Chandrasiri Vidyalaya, Piliyandala were given gift packs by Mr.Manula Piyadigama on his birthday, 31st August 2009. The students were selected on the basis of their marks of the last term test.

Mr.Piyadigama and his family, the vice principle, the staff and the CUP Officials were present at the event.The CUP Team presented a plaque to Mr.Piyadigama, appreciating his generous work for the needy children of our country.
