The annual eye camp organized by CUP was held at Honnathara temple, Piliyandala this year. 100 children of the Sunday school were examined on the 16th of August 2009. At this camp and spectacles were donated to 20 selected children on the 27th of September 2009.

This project was sponsored by Mr.S.A.Dissanayake and Mr.Nishantha Perera. Mr.Lal Saranapala, Mr.Harsha Gomes, Mr.Jagath Kariyakarawana, Mr.Nishantha Perera, Mr.Nalin Rodrigo, and Mrs. N.T.A.Dissnayake were present at this event.
