As it always has been and will be, CUPs navigation through ever corner in the country where children in need of a library had been a “Dream come true” at Handapangoda Sri Sumanajothi Sunday School on 25th March 2012.

The gathering was very emotional on both beneficiaries and sponsors faces. Little Library, more meaningfully Dream Little Library became very true when CUP officials, Rotary members and staff from Wallawatta Nithyakalyani Jewelers selected the best three drawings which depict the theme of “our dream little library” from children.

Students from 300 families in the area organized few events to make the occasion more interesting and worthwhile. Dancing, Singing, musical and art were amongst some of many entertainment activities.

The main sponsor was Wallawatta Nithyakalyani Jewelers and the organizers for this event were Rotary Club, Colombo East President Mr Jayarajah and the members. CUP officials Harsha Gomas, Nadee Dissanakaya, Sabeer iqbal and Rasika Udagama also participated to this event.

Last but not the least; Mr Sabeer Iqbal’s transportation came in very handy for the occasion and the name board for the library from Mr Ranjith Dissanayaka was a paramount importance.
