Madhuka Priyashan is studying in grade ten, Takshila Maha Vidyalaya, Horana was selected for CUP Sisu Diriya Scholarship. He is sponsored by CUP Sisu Diriya Scholarship Programme with the support of Trelleborg Private Limited for his education.

On behalf of the Trelleborg Company, the first instalment of the scholarship was handed over to Madhuka by Mr.Lal Saranapala, the President CUP at a simple ceremony held at CUP Head Office on 25th August 2012.The Vice President, Mr. Harsha Gomes and the Secretary, Mrs. N.T.A.Dissanayake CUP and Madhuka's father also participated in this event.
