The first ever Web Radio in Sri Lanka for children was launched on 29 December 2012 at a ceremony held at Colombo.

The chief guest at the occasion was Mr Ajith Dharmasiri, Chief Editor of the Mihira publication, a newspaper dedicated to children in Sri Lanka by Lake House. Officials of CUP, Lal Saranapala, Harsha Gomes, Nadee Disanayake, M.M.Maznavi, Rasika Udugama, Dilhara Karunanayake, Beverly Saranapala and Manjuma Salgadu were also present on the day.

The officials of CUP are confident that this programme will be both entertaining and educational. They will also make arrangements to conduct various competitions for the children to show their talents.
