Chethana Samudini Wickckramasinghe studying in grade six at Thakshila Maha Vidyalaya, Horana qualified to be a beneficiary of Sisu Diriya Scholarship of CUP.

Mr. Prasad Galhena, the Chairman of National Gem & Jewellary Authority sponsors Chethana. Mr. Galhena handed over the first installment to Chethana at a simple ceremony held at the National Gem & Jewellary Authority, Colombo on 30 March 2013.

CUP Officials Lal Saranapala - the President, Harsha Gomes – the Vice President, and Nadee Dissanayake - the Secretary, and the members Sunil Lakshmanasinghe, Nishanatha Perera, & Beverly Saranapala were also present at the event.
