Pasindu Kanchana studying in grade six at Royal College, Horana qualified to be a beneficiary of Sisu Diriya Scholarship of CUP. Mr. Lolitha Abeysinghe, Commissioner of Securities Exchange Commission sponsors Pasindu. The President, CUP, Mr. Lal Saranapala handed over the first installment to Pasindu on behalf of Mr. Abeysinghe at a simple ceremony held at the BMICH, Colombo 07 on 12 October 2013.

CUP Officials Lal Saranapala - the President, Sunil Lakshmanasinghe – the Vice President, Nadee Dissanayake - the Secretary, Harsha Gomes – the Deputy Secretary, and the members Manjuma Salgadu and Damayanthi Perera were also present at the event.
