Chamodani Perera studying in grade six at Royal College, Horana qualified to be a beneficiary of Sisu Diriya Scholarship of CUP. Mrs. Nadeesha Wijesinghe, Assistant Manager, People’s Bank sponsors Chamodani. The President, CUP, Mr.Lal Saranapala handed over the first installment to Chamodani on behalf of Mrs. Wijesinghe at a simple ceremony held at the BMICH, Colombo 07 on 12 October 2013.

CUP Officials Lal Saranapala - the President, Sunil Lakshmanasinghe – the Vice President, Nadee Dissanayake - the Secretary, Harsha Gomes – the Deputy Secretary, and the members Manjuma Salgadu and Damayanthi Perera were also present at the event.
