The children of Siddhartha Children’s Society, Thalwita, Seeradunna, Kurunegala were able to start a Little Library on their own with the support of CUP on 9th November 2013.

The concept of Little Library is to enhance the ability of reading among children and also to encourage them towards creative writing. The children will get more opportunities to learn leadership skills, team work, organizing patterns and sharing with others through the experience gained in this project.

Mr. Niranga Hettiarachchi, CEO of the Infotainment (Pvt) Ltd, is the key sponsor of this project.

Mr. Jayalath Priyantha, Development Officer of Divisional Secretariat, Seeradunna, Gramaniladhari of Seeradunna together with CUP officials Mr.Harsha Gomes, Mrs.Nadee Dissanayake, Mr.Nishantha Perera, and Mrs.Dilhara Karunanayake also participated in this event. The staff of Infotainment (Pvt) Ltd Mr.Imal Gunasekara, Mrs. Sunethra Malwattage, and Mrs. Padma Pinnawalage graced the occasion.
