The 26th Little Library was inaugurated by CUP on 22 December 2013 with the children of “Samanala Lama Samajaya” at Polpitiya, Ginigathhena in the Nuwara-Eliya District.

The main sponsor of the event was the Rotary Club - Colombo East. Also, Mr. Roshan Gunawardana extended his kind support to make the event a success.

Around 110 children who are residents in the area will benefit by the library facilities.

Mr. Adamaly Saifu, President of the Rotary Club and Mr. A.P. Jayarajah – Past President of the same participated in the event. The CUP officials who participated in the opening ceremony were Harsha Gomes – Vice President, Nadee Dissnayake – Secretary, Nishantha Perera – Assistant Treasurer and the Member Sandil Munasinghe.
