The Children's Upliftment Programme (CUP) together with twenty five child members of Kurana, Kotigala, Sri Sumanajothi Little Library organised and conducted its second Child Writer's Project on 27th February & 1st March 2014 at Sri Sumanajothi Sunday School.

The Story Book titled 'Duleege Niwadu Kalaya', including content, graphics and layout, which was created by fourteen Children after a 2-Day Workshop was launched on 23rd March 2014.

This Project was Sponsored by Mr Chaminda Udumalagala, the Managing Director, CD Engineers (Pvt) Ltd. Mr Udumalagala graced this occasion as the Chief Guest. Also, his family, participated at the event. Mr Harindranath Chandrasiri, News Editor, Sri Lanka Government News Web Site, too address the gathering as the guest of honor.
